Birds of a Feather - Framed

Shown is Linda's Birds of a Feather sampler
in the beautiful frame made by her husband. 
They make a great team, don't they?

    THE FRAME IS DARK GREEN WITH SOME BROWN SPONGING OVER IT. I USED AN AVOCADO GREEN AND A BURGANDY PAINT. JUST MIXED DIFFERENT BROWNS TO GET THE COLOR FOR GRAINING, AND THEN USED A PIECE OF SARAN WRAP TO BLOT, THEN A COAT OF VARNISH AND BRI WAX. GLAD TO OFFER MY DIRECTIONS BUT ONE PAINTING IS ENOUGH, WAYNE IS GOOD TO MAKE MORE FRAMES.

    The frame looks gorgeous. Can't wait to pick mine up at Rose's. I will be there for sure on Saturday.

    I may have a conflict on Friday---I will let Rose know as soon as I know. My future daughter-in-law has asked me to come see her wedding dress. I am so excited....
